Our friends decided, to take an adventure weekend for fun

Gathering our much needed stuff, and off for a jog or run

We were Decisive about which trail, to occupy our feet

Driving along and studying the map, people we will meet

All six of us ladies, in laugh and song having a great blast

Talking about our future, and trying to almost forget our past

We have been best buds, since the grade of one and beyond that

The stories of babysitting and hitchhiking, watching dogs and a cat

None of us Oppose going on this wild, wonderful get away from work

We are all together and enjoying ourselves, not being around a jerk

Now our travel time in the car is up, and the trail is here not looking scary

Down the path we go ready for adventure, breaking away like a Estuary
