Tonight a galaxy of stars

Is nesting within me,

They’re tingling

in the corner of my mouth

recreating a smile

or a kiss

long lost.

So I’m gonna write

As if no one is reading

As if you and I

are the only ones

inhabiting the Universe.

A silly thing to say

‘Cause, ever since I lost you,

I’m drifting away…

And if there’s any peace

in this forevermore wandering,

that feeling isn’t mine.

It only belongs to the galaxy,

The blue galaxy

inside me.
