Ruler

To you I must confess,

The sin is not alone.

Not one made of spite

But of reasons his own.

I did not mean to,

Can you understand?

The pull was too much

Their death unplanned.

I’m sorry but he is not.

Voice of reason and betray.

He pushed me, I swear.

I promise he made me play.

Voices, they tell me much.

I don’t want to, I vow,

But their voices so sweet.

I had to, I know I must go now.

No longer will they rule,

Oh yes we will,

Too strong they may be,

Yes darling, be still.

For her I am sorry,

I am the one who is in blame.

I took her away,

I sunk her in the blackest flame.

Shhh, do not tell her I rule,

Do not yield me of my tool,

Or you’ll be next,

I come for you fool.

(Not the turn I was expecting to take with this but I think it’s pretty good. I really hope you enjoyed it 🫶)
