Finally solitude 

Safety

No humans around to take me

I lock myself in

I’m scared to come out

Just a young child

Full of doubt

They all snicker

Their red eyes glow

That slut child

That stupid kid

They laugh and mock

They talk and talk

You wonder why I don’t come out?

Can’t you just shut your mouth?

My innocence is exposed

My childhood destroyed

But all you can say is “shut the kids mouth”?

I now understand why you were never on my side

Never tried to help

Never told a soul

It was you

You took my innocence.

It’s alright

I’ll be fine

I’m still alive, aren’t I?

You merely helped me feed my inner demon

So thank you I suppose?
