Eyes Wide Open

Everything looked new and fresh. Like a traveler wandering in a new place. Observing, smiling and experiencing new sights, sounds, smells and experiences.

She asked herself, “Is this a dream, am I awake”.

A bicycle whizzed by her, quickly she stepped to the side. Gathering her thoughts, “I am not dreaming”. She continued walking. She was tired and thirsty and decided to return home.
