WRITING OBSTACLE
Eager. Astonishing. Engulf.
In a story of no more than 10 lines, use these three words in any order. Try not to randomly throw them in, but think about a storyline that allows you to link them all naturally.
First Kiss
He tried not to be too eager. She was obsessed with waterfalls. And he was obsessed with her.
“This is the most beautiful, most astonishing, thing I’ve ever seen.” She looked at him with gratitude and what looked like desire.
Engulfed in nerves and hope, he tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. And then she kissed him.
