Playful teasing

Mindless waving

Endless grieving

Darkness and woe

Towers of lies

Shattered pieces of hope

Oh, how our fractured parts shine

We are broken and bruised,

Bearing burdens too heavy for our hearts,

because in the light, refracted,

Is all our endless thoughts.

The clock Keeps ticking-

Heading in reverse,

I’m stuck in memories,

Bound to a curse.

I look for an escape,

But there is none,

Only a door,

Where all love returns.

And then once more,

I am free,

Balancing light and darkness-

Eternally .
