The beach is the best place to be just before sunset. To watch the blazing hot sun of late afternoon, slowly disappear over the horizon leaving the sky a perfect shade of cotton candy. I wish I could reach out and grab a handful, feel it slowly dissolve on the tip of my tongue. I wonder what a sunset would taste like.

I want to play at the edge of water, just before it gets too cold to swim. Wiggle my toes into the warm sand.

I want to paint the sunset on the back of my eyelids so I can always remember the way the sun reflects sherbet onto the surface of the ocean.
