In shadows deep i walked for ever alone

With heart of stone made from a sorrow unknown

I thought pain is all that remained

In life’s relentless and cruel domain

But then she came a light so bright

Like a lighthouse in the darkest hour of night

Her smile her touch her gentle way

Made all the fears and doubts decay

My love for her is more than any word could describe

A love so fierce it must be spell cast from another world

now I fear in silence and dread

The thought of losing her instead

For now I know what true pain is

not the past that haunted me nor the shattered dreams that didn’t come true

But It's the thought of losing her my heart's delight

And facing endless sleepless nights

But still i hold her close and tight

With hope that love will win the fight

For in her arms I have found my place in this cold world

A love that even time cannot erase
