The idea of you crosses through my mind, my heart, all over.

I wonder who you are and if you’re thinking of me too. Are you as stressed and nervous of us ever meeting just as much as I ?

As you scroll through your socials and see your close friends married, with kids, enjoying life with their significant other; do you yearn for me as much as I ?

Its getting comfortable. The one pillow where I lay on my mattress, the one toothbrush by the sink as I wake up in the morning, the dinner for one as I choose not to cook because its just easier and again comfortable.

I am starting to give up on you.

As the days are long and the years are short.

Just like we’re taught in school; it is not a want but a need. A need to feel loved and be loved in return by the most beautiful person, who sees me as nothing but flawless.

Needless to say I am independent and in no way need someone to make me happy. However, us independent woman need our flowers too.
