Bluetooth Earphones
Sometimes I go
To somewhere only I know
A space for me
Set in place
When I put on
My Bluetooth earphones
The outside audible world
Shut off
Disintegrated
Obliterated
And now it’s my world
Podcasts, music,
Audiobooks
Sometimes even ambients sounds
Like spring streams,
Lapping waves
Or even crowded city centres
But of my choosing
When I want
How I want
Oh my Bluetooth headphones
My inaudibility cloak
My safe space
My audio black hole
