The humanification of selflessness

Trading part of life, time, happiness

To one who needs it more

There are those who sacrifice their lives

To keep us safe at home

There are those who sacrifice for their kin

To provide them a better life than our own

Know by women in their roles as mothers and wives

Selflessness is inate, it’s in their microbiome

But those who do not sacrifice, do not necessarily sin

It simply sets them apart when it comes time to atone
