All the world's a stage.
Write a poem with this as a theme.
They Told Me
I entered this world much like every living thing
I cried unapologetically, not really wanting to sing
I grew up desiring the basic human needs
It was never my intention to plant any seeds
They told me “All the Worlds a Stage”
So do what you can to engage
As I grew older I began to desire another need
It was always my intention to quench my feed
I began to partake on what was available to me
No one ever said It was an actual guarantee
They told me “All the Worlds a Stage”
So do what you can to stay out of the cage
I followed their rules and remained unknown
I knew this life would be lived alone
I traveled to many lands far and wide
All the while leaving many lives to hide
They told me “All the Worlds a Stage”
So do what you can to hide your age
I played every part and every human I could
The world was my stage where ever I stood
I was everything from a Doctor to a mechanic
I only fed on those I was told to, without causing a panic
“All the Worlds a Stage” is all I ever heard
And what I’m about to tell you might sound a little absurd
Not every person you meet is living
There’s the special kind that are unforgiving
We truly are a rare kind of breed
Especially when it comes to me wanting to feed
I like to tell my victims this right before everything transpires
“All the Worlds a Stage” for us vampires
