Final Destination

An icy chill went down my spine. When her onyx eyes met mine, they bore into my soul. Her bony hand reached out and beckoned me toward her.

Her raggedy breath enunciated each word, "I've been waiting a millenia for you." She drew back her hand and patted the concrete seat next to her, as if we were friends who hadn’t seen each other in a long time.

"Death suits you nicely too", I responded hesitantly.
