“ Ma’am, can I help you put that water bottle in the car, the young cashier asked.
“ No, I got it,” Janine snapped. She hated when teenagers who assumed she too old to carry her own groceries, including five litre bottles of water. She abruptly pushed her cart away from the checkout, and through the door toward her car. It wasn’t until she got to her car that she realized she forgot her change. Then, she burst out laughing. What else could she do?
