wandering

Stars aligned with clouds in the sky

I closed my eyes and started to reside

In a house that would soon be mine

Sleep came hitting me and my mind pined

For a home and loved ones by my side

Soon they would wake up and find

A strange shadow tiptoeing in white lights

So i forced myself to get up and try

To find a sharp knife and hide in plain sight

Once the father came out, he laid in scarlet dye

And the mother would soon say goodbye

The little ones been sleeping and then cried

In nighttime no one heard it in a while

I set my back on the sofa and whined

They soon came to the room and wide-eyed

Then i said "good god, you look terrifed"

Then the little girl sent no replies

Mama and daddy laid in red wine

In her eyes i saw the girl had descried

In her mind i knew she'd awakened, ready to say bye-bye
