Colours

Colours melt and molde,

Into something to uphold.

Bursts of yellow, shining bright,

Swaths of blue, dark as night.

Patterns of purple, swaying happily along,

Strokes of orange, repeating danger’s thrilling song.

Dots of red, for every misfortune shed,

Drops of black, dreams that ended up dead.

Splatters of green, showing the forest’s size,

Puddles of pink, the heart is the prize.

Colours arch across the sky,

Like paint on a canvas, choose your favourite dye.

With things like these, it’s no wonder why,

Wondrous sights seen through your eye.

Changes your perspective of life,

Look for where colours thrive.

(I didn’t want to lose my streak.)
