To the little girl

Who sits deep inside me

Waiting to be revived

To live her young dream

I will strive for my goal

To make sure you are honored

Always you’ll have a place in my heart

A corner

But wait little girl

Only time will tell

Where we will end up,

And where we will take a wrong turn

Transport me

From my bedroom

To a brand new fantasy

And just like that, I lose my senses

With murder mysteries and forgotten princes

Get to sit atop a gilded throne

And become one with the pages

And just like that

I lose a fried

As the story comes to an end

And like thay

I am home

And I forget I had to

return

And so I awaken

From a long forgotten dream

A new person,

Hoping life will be a little more easy

But things still are the same

And I return to books to get that high

And sometimes I work to hard

My heart runs dry

And so words

Will always be a solace

And in them I find my

Perfect home

And I know that always

Even though I might take a wrong turn

And it could be years from now,

I know that I will always
