WRITING OBSTACLE
Describe a creature which is a combination of your favourite animal, and the animal you’re most afraid of.
You can combine the two however you like, but focus on giving a description that allows the reader to envision this animal without overtly telling them what it is.
Equal
It’s tail swayed with every breath it took, effortlessly elegant and beautiful. Beautiful.
Beautiful, strong body, coated with thick orange fur and adorned with stripes, each one as unique as the prints on its ten fingers.
It’s long hair was greasy, matted against its skin. Skin.
Skin that was plastered with boils and sweat, pores open, anger and contempt seeping out of every one. One.
They were one, but they would never be equal.
