Maybe one day I'll be able to look you in the eyes
Maybe one day I won't see everything you say as lies
Maybe one day I won't miss how we used to be
Maybe one day you'll see all the pain you've caused me

I’m an avid fan of you putting together every stanza with repetition of “maybe one day” and stringing together a narrative solely from that phrase each time. I also enjoyed how the first three stanzas proceed with “I” and the last one ends on addressing another with “you” but the way it’s phrased doesn’t antagonize or present as solely negative.
