POEM STARTER
Submitted by HardCoreWriter
‘If desires are a flame, then I am a wildfire.’
Use this line to inspire a poem or short story.
Where have I gone?
A single touch won't hurt anyone, as a little imagination would be silent.
But the human imagination is violent.
It fed me the illusion of a touch, held my hand and said "its not true".
Being touch starved would be worse to you.
A touch isn't all to desire. We desire people for who they are.
Desire is a crave that won't be silenced by jarring, That is scarring.
But one day the scar gushes all the blood out, making a flood bursting all your lines.
And if desiring what I desire makes me a sinner, I am a sinner.
Pride,
Greed,
Wrath,
if craving what I crave makes me damned, then I'm bound to stay damned forever.
Lust,
Envy,
Gluttony,
and if wanting what I want makes me ruined, tainted and misguided, I will stare in shock at what made me reach this point.
And Sloth.
a little imagination is no longer so little, its my second my minute, my hour, and day.
it devoured me, I will keep driving to Corpus Christi
