POEM STARTER

Use the 'snowball technique' to write a poem, where the first line is one word long, the second line has two words, and so on.

Remember you do not have to 'build' on the first word - each line should use different words.

Fishing The Swimming Ideas.

Nothing.

That’s it.

Nothing inside,

No ideas swim by,

For me to grab, catch,

With my β€œtrusty” fishing rod mind,

And the intresting thoughts at the bottom,

Just where my hook can not begin to reach,

So I’m forced to just sit here, waiting,

Baiting what I can actually catch,

Watching time tick in boredom,

Watching unoriginal ideas go,

In this blue;

My thoughts?,

Nothing.

(I still feel like my writing is getting boring, and I feel like I’m having writers block or something, so I wrote about it lol)
