Have you ever been alone, with no friends in sight?

Left out and forgotten, with no one to hold you tight

It's a feeling that cuts deep, right to the core

Leaving you feeling empty, wanting more

You have your doubts, your insecurities too

Trust is hard when people only gossip and assume

But remember, dear one, there's always someone there

A friend who loves you, who truly cares

It's easy to be kind to those who are kind to us

But what about the ones who cause a fuss

Jesus calls us to love them all the same

For His love knows no bounds, it has no shame

In good times, it's easy to see

Who your true friends will always be

But in the hard times, that's when you'll know

Who will stick by you, who will help you grow

So take a look at your circle, my friend

Are they there through thick and thin?

Or do they only come around

When the sun is shining, and there's no frown?

But even when you feel alone and blue

There's always a friend, who'll never leave you

Jesus is with you, through all the highs and lows

His love and friendship, forever flows

So don't let the doubts and insecurities win

For in Jesus, you have a friend within

And with His love, you can love others too

For that's what true friendship is meant to do.
