Whispers of the Unseen Forces

Water murmurs down the ages,

a subdued melody, unwavering and assured,

its streams sculpting planets,

creating grooves in ancient rocks.

It offers secrets of the depths,

and yearns to be at peace, untroubled calm,

where surface duplicates paradise,

and all beneath live peaceful.

Fire comes in rage, eternally hungry.

its light a temporary beauty

a wild, strong dance of light.

It burns with an insatiable craving,

burning the earth,

leaving ashes behind to narrate the story

of a time experienced vividly,

though extremely short.

It hangs even in death

the ashes whispering of a power

which can never be totally controlled.

Earth, the soundless temporal custodian,

has everything that was, all that is,

with unyielding force.

Mountains rise; rivers slash;

forests open their limbs toward the heavens.

In the silence of its existence,

There is a knowing

a patience that watches the dance of the flames,

the unending stream of water,

and the breath of the wind,

all operating as one.

though none can comprehend it still.

Air, the invisible energy

the gap between seconds,

travels in currents, soft and powerful.

It stimulates the leaves, increases the flame,

whispers the secrets of the world,

never free, always unbounded.

It is the stillness between words,

the motion linking all items together,

rising the mood

One's soul is stroked.

each carrying everything on its invisible wings.

And so, as one entity, together they create the fabric of life

Water, Fire, Earth, and Air

in dance without limit,

their noise matched the rhythm of life.

Fire fuels passions; water helps life.

Earth provides stability; Air maintains the creative wind.

Together they each stand incomplete,

given their totality

the globe gathers together.

and everything is known,

everything still to come

lives in their never-ending arms.
