Poison

She was the most adored girl in the room; all eyes were fixed on her as she waltzed elegantly across the floor. Little did they know the dark secret she was hiding. Her auburn silky hair flowed down to her waist and bounced around, it didn’t look like a mess because she was able to keep herself together. Her ocean eyes were dilated to make it seem to everyone like she was in love _- but really she despised him. _She hated the way he was holding onto her gaze, like she was the only one for him. However, Adelaide wasn’t and knows that she was destined for someone else, someone so much better than a prince.

She was beautiful of course, and everyone knew apart from what was going to happen next. The Prince leaned in closer to Adelaide, she had the urge to push him away but she knew what she had to do. Her lips contained a secret ingredient that would make him collapse, so she had to do something she never wanted to do. To kiss him.

Sick repulsed in her stomach, made it grumble slightly but she kept her pain hidden. “Is that a new fragrance I smell?” The prince said when his mouth was mere milimetres away. Adelaide nodded, as she feared if she spoke a word then everything would’ve collapsed. He leaned in and kissed her sweet soft spoken lips, but was met with a taste of peanuts.

He felt his throat tighten, while he smiled to himself. “You think I would’nt prepared for an attack like this? But I did,” he said while he let his grip loosened on her hands.

“What did you do?” She asked before he spun her around, letting go of her hand so that she could fell. Fell to the floor.

“Wouldn’t you like to know?” He said chuckling to himself.

Now all eyes were fixed on her body on the floor, and they knew nothing about the poison inside of her.
