My Own Prince

“You can’t be in here!” He joked.

My face lit up, as I ran up to him, hugging him tight. My vision became blurry, “I missed you,” I kissed his soft lips, I missed this and him, so much.

He picked me up, “I missed you so much that I forgot how it feels to hold you in my arms.”

He let me down, and I hugged him tight again. Snow droplets fell on my face, his dark eyelashes covered with snow flakes.

The Vertical seams extend from my shoulder to the hem of the skirt, curving outward at the waistline, flowing in the cold winter breeze.

My dress sparkled even more than before, the white color shined in the small amount of sunshine covered by the clouds.

“Your smile could plant flowers in the darkest hour.” His eyes glowed.

My smile lit up even more while my gaze softened. I had missed this, the only one who could make me truly smile.

“Well you cause my smile, so you’re a huge part of

It.” I grabbed the edge of his black jacket with my fingers.

“I’m glad.” His hands reached out for me.

“I missed you, so, so, so, much.” Our fingers linked together.

“That’s a lot of so’s,” His smile grew bigger.

“Well, it’s true, every word of it,” my head tilting to look as his eyes.

“I’m so glad, because I missed you more.” He picked me up, and swung me around.

You were my very own fairytale, and I wouldn’t have any other one.
