The stranger in the street

Was yesterday my friend

We thought we’d last forever

But even stars have an end

We shined the brightest

Out of everyone in our town

You’d see us every day

But now we’re no longer around

We would lay at watch the stars

And savor our ice cream

Thinking of days in the future

Planning out our big dream

The stranger in the street

Someone I once said goodbye

Because even if our friendship was strong

At some point they always die.
