Purple tulips
Forgotten purple tulips litter the ground
No more trips to find the perfect ones
I know it’s not the same
I know there’s less time
But you still have your orange flowers
Why has she forgotten her purple tulips
Mom,Dad
Are you okay?
Why is the vase empty
I miss those purple tulips
I miss when I didn’t understand the fights
I know you both love eachother
And I know I’m over thinking
But why are you so mean to him
And why is he okay with it
You wonder why the orange flowers are flourishing
And the purple tulips are wilted and dried,
It’s because I’m trying to preserve them
I’m trying to preserve the forgotten tulips
I don’t need to remember the orange flowers though
They’re still here
Still thriving
But mom
Dad
Please know its okay
You don’t have to keep your frayed ends together for me
Not all flowers can grow together
