Trouble in Soul Town

The raw sun rays blasted through the clouds. the Sky was bright and blue. On the bench Sen sat there his eyes scanning the children all playing on the run down instruments of fun. A short brown haired kid was brave enough to try and attempt to go down the metal lava that was the metal slide. The air was grossly humid and the unwavering heat from the sun had baked it like a oven on the highest setting. The air around it distorted as the waves of hit microwaved it. Sen sat up and watched with full interest as the kid climbed up the stairs then stood over the instrument of third degree burns. With a loud gulp the kid swung his body down the slide. Instantly A heart pounding scream ripped from his throat as the skin his shorts exposed stuck to the slide Sending unbearable waves of pain through the boys body. He was stuck, like a rat caught in a mousetrap. No matter what he did he could remove himself his skin was melting against the slide. It was consuming him, holding him still to leave its mark. The laughs of the children turned into shirks of horror as they watched the poor boys skin develop into sick blisters and welts. The parents of the boy finally realized what was happening and his farther rushed to him. He tried desperately to lift his son off the monstrous grip of the slide. The boys skin stretched unnaturally like a thin piece of gum. The smell of burnt flesh stunk up the air. Sen had to pitch his nose. Then with a rip that froze the entire park the skin on the boys leg ripped off. Leaving a pool of sizzling blood on the metal. Along with what was left of his leg. Sen decided he had seen enough and walked away. “Poor child.” He said his eyes were just blank like they always were. He had no reaction, no emotion. But deep inside he cared or Atleast thought he did. He walked all the way to the nearby beach that was beyond full of humans. Especially sense the day was now reaching its peak.
