Their hero laughed, his shoulders tensing and betraying his anger. “The one that says your Angel will return and bring forth an era of peace and prosperity? There is no room for your hatred and prejudice here. I’ll fulfill that prophecy still, even if it means destroying the planet and rebuilding it from the rubble to do so.” Nothing in the history of Safton had ever bathed its people in the icy blue panic his words brought, as he turned and walked away from the podium and his people.
