Yet here I am…wishing I could go back in time to tell you the truth. The things I was to shy to say. How much you meant to me and to Thank you.

You found out the truth from one of our friends from childhood, but I never told you myself. When we were a little older I did say and pretend that I didn’t like you but that wasn’t true.

It’s been over ten years since I’ll seen you. I don’t know if your happy or not with your life. Are you okay? I hope so. I hope you have everything that you ever wanted and that you found peace after the storm.

What made you different from the rest? Why couldn’t I let go of the memories that I have of you?

Maybe because you didn’t seem fake to me. You were not like the rest that treated me poorly.

You were always kind to others. Making others laugh, putting a smile on their face.

But I realized a long time ago that I will probably never see you again in this life, and if I did…I’m not really sure what I would do…maybe just hide and be a shadow of my past. It hurts to know that I’ll never see you again but I know it’s for the best. Be Happy and I will be okay.

Now and always… I only have my memories and dreams of my younger youth to hold on to.
