Whispers of Autumn
The leaves rustle in the cooling breeze,
Time stands still,
Motionless and at ease,
This peace will last until
The whispers of Autumn
Whisper no more,
And you and I,
We too are no more.
These whispers of Autumn, you see,
The speak of a certain kind of peace,
A peace that is you and me.
And though our story is a minuscule crease
In the folds of time,
We create peace,
Put the world in its prime.
The peace of an Autumn breeze,
The way the leave flutter and flow,
It’s all because of the peace,
The peace inside us,
The peace we do share,
The peace we create,
Because our love is not to compare.
Our love, you see,
It’s they very definition of
Love and of peace.
You and me,
Side by side, hand in hand,
Someday,
These whispers of Autumn say,
Someday, my darling,
We’ll rule the whole world.
Peace and happiness,
Blessing and cheer,
All shall be frequent,
Now that we are always near.
