How

I’m not smart

My parents are proud

They dont know the truth

It was school

We were being fourth graders

We thought we should switch places on the sub

It was hilarious

Then we had a test

Child genius of my grade put down my name

Broke records

I’ve taken everything

His future what he deserves

What should I do

I cant keep doing this

Living with this burden

I got to the news

Tell them the truth

I should right

I have to

If not I’m a horrible person

I go

Tell the truth

The cold hard truth

They take away the prizes

Give them to Max

My parents look at me in a new way

Proud but disappointed

But I’m proud I did the right thing
