POEM STARTER

The Beauty of Being Asleep
Write a poem which could have this as its title.
Solace In Slumber
The beauty of being asleep
a world unfolds, where truth is deep.
No voices judge, no fear takes hold,
Just endless stories, dreams untold.
A canvas stretched in endless hue,
Where every wish is shaped by you.
No need to barter, bend, or break.
Love is given freely , not a transaction or there just to take.
Moonlit whispers guide your flight,
floating weightless through the night.
No past to haunt, no pain to chase,
Only solace, only space.
Time is precious not there to waste.
Youthful or old, you decide as your dreams unfold .
The scars once traced upon your skin
fade away; they’ve never been.
No hesitation, no regret, no voices saying, “Not just yet.”
The stars align without demand—
A world that bends to your command.
Yet morning calls, the sunlight bleeds,
your perfect world recedes.
The weight of waking slowly settles in,
as doubt and worry rebegin.
But close your eyes when night is near,
your dreams will wait, they’ll reappear.
A place untouched by fate’s cruel hand
A world where you, the creator, still understand.
