On something stupid said
Years ago. It lays on my chest,
Even now I feel the dread…
“When’s the baby due?”
I asked, enthusiastic.
5 pounds had just been shed too!
I left before her fury became drastic…
I like this because the beginning is so relatable and you immediately feel invested with the character!
And she’d just lost 5 pounds?! Aw mannnn 😂😝
This definitely gave me a good little giggle 😂
At the start, I was like, ‘oh, I know that feeling, I do it every night!’ but then it got to the end, and I audibly went said ‘oh no!’ 😂😂
Poor main character, I feel for them!

The lead in to the last 2 lines was perfect! You suckered me in about not knowing where this was going. My concern was growing and then POW! Something totally different! Great! 😁
