I had never been in more of a slump then this.

I knew this life was going to be a difficult one but I wasn’t prepared for any of this.

I figured because of what we are it meant we had power over them.

That they feared and respected us.

Why wouldn’t I be able to feed off anyone I wanted to.

I was sadly mistaken, now I must trod carefully if I want to stay out of trouble from the council.

I wish I could say that I had the strength to obey their laws, but I was just too hungry.

I guess feeding off the mayor’s son is a big no no.

Now thanks to the vampire council, as punishment, I must be in desolation for a year without feeding.
