July 8th. 9:37 AM

Los Angeles, U.S.A

A shuttering boom rang out, far far off in the distance. Lara swung her head around, her dark eyes wide as she watched the massive mushroom cloud rise high above the cityscape. She scrambled off of the cafe chair, not able to tear her eyes away from the horror.

New York, U.S.A

The radio came back to life, still on an old timey station.

One of those chain reactions in my heart

A big explosion, big and loud

Mushroom me right up in a cloud”
