blinded by the light love glared on us

reflections of each other danced across our skin

what felt like fate was casted out by shadows

it became apparent one day what was once so pure was now tainted by flags discarded once before

only brick walls and grey skies lay surrounding me now

with crystal blue icicles hovering above

the sun doesn’t shine this way anymore
