“Please!” I can hear the desperation in my voice but I don’t care

“Please don’t go! Your my brother! I need you!” I sob, trying to grab at his leg.

“Shh.” He says soothingly,

“Hey, Mira. Look at me.” He says tilting my chin up to meet his eyes.

“You know I love you, right?” I nod

“So you know I wouldn’t leave you without a good reason, right?” I nod, new tears forming in my eyes.

“But Mira, I need you to stay strong, ok? I know you can do it, your stronger then you think.”

“Please let me come with you!” I’m begging now

“Mira, you don’t even know where I’m going”

“Then tell me!!” I yell at him, “tell me!!”

“Mira… it- it isn’t that easy. Just promise me that you will take care of yourself and that you will be strong, promise me Mirabella.”

He says this with desperation in his eyes,

“El,” I say “how can I promise you when I don’t know where your going or how long you’ll be gone!? I’m your sister! You can tell me anything!”

“Promise me” he says again ignoring me

“Fine! I promise! now can you tell me where your going?”

He smiles sadly at me and says:

“I love you Mira, don’t you ever forget that.”

With that he presses a kiss to my forehead and-and vanishes.
