POEM STARTER
Write a poem using multiple rhetorical questions, where the narrator is questioning their own judgement or viewpoint.
You could use the questions to make the reader think, or to show how doubtful the narrator is of their own stance.
Do You Know?
Do you know everything going on?
Do you know your past?
Do you know what’s going to happen?
Do you stress over the future?
Do you stress over the past?
Do you stress in the present?
Do you know that your perfect?
Every thought we have
Is either good or bad
But don’t stress over anything
You don’t what’s going to happen
So don’t be afraid go after it
Remember the world around you
Do you feel you won’t be remembered?
Do you feel sad?
Do you feel unperfect?
Do you think you’re great?
Do you think your terrible?
Do you think you should be gone?
You will be remembered but it may not be what you think of
Turn your sadness into something great
You are a beautiful person in this world
If your great then that’s special everyone has
You can’t be terrible it’s only the inside that defines who you are
Know one should go off and hurt themselves cause they feel they don’t feel like they are worthy
But it’s not true we need you in this earth
Everyone has a life
But you need to know
The positives in each person
Don’t be sad or scared
Be brave
Follow your dreams
And show the world who you are
Today on earth
