Time in life

Is fleeting,

And the strife

Keeps on repeating.

So all I know

And all I can say,

Is to keep going slow

To get through each day.

We are naught

But mortal,

Can’t get caught

Up in some magic portal.

Someday,

Well all die,

Don’t know what way,

Don’t know why.

Stuck in life’s ways,

Stuck here to die,

Counting down the days,

Never knowing why.

Soon enough,

We’re all gonna die.
