His Return; Countdown Series

(This takes place in 1987, 4 years after her brothers “death”) ⚠️TW: mentions of death, specific ways of death.⚠️

Never once had Shei thought her brother was still alive. I mean 4 whole years ago. She had stuffed her brothers, young, flower like body into an old animatronic suit. In hopes spring locks would go off, sending metal into his skin and kill him. But today. Today they heard. Shei didn’t want this. Her brother was alive. And Shei had a feeling he was thirsty for revenge.

Shei began to record audio logs again. Her brothers body had been dug out of the suit and taken into the ER. The only thing Shei could do was talk.

Audio log 1:

“I missed him—sorta. I guess he was the one thing missing from our family. Jason had been crying over his death ever since he died. My mother. Oh boy. She knew I had planned something. She knew how I’d been obsessed with animatronics since day one. I had the sneaky suspicion she was on to me.”

Shei ended the audio log, making it clear she didn’t want to give away to much. She left the audio recorder on her bedside table.

Audio log 2:

“My mom was so joyous when she saw Dylan lump into the house. So joyous she actually shoved me against the wall. Gosh—I hate my brother. But yet again I don’t. Sure I possibly murdered him but he’s still alive isn’t he?”

Shei pressed he finger against the metal surface then pushed the pause button. Everything she said was true. She didn’t hate anyone however. She adored everyone in the family.

Audio log 3:

“My brother had been here for 2 weeks. My mom’s already lost it. I mean it’s like she’s dealing with 7 kids instead of 2. And Jason is oblivious to the sign she needs help with taking care of the kids and keeps begging her to adopt a little girl. Which mom seems quite open to.”

Shei hated the fact there might be another child in the house. But she sucked it up and ended the recording.

“How could you.” Dylan stood behind her.

“What?” Shei tried her best to lie.

“Oh please you stole my sugar cookie!” Dylan yelled, clutching his wrist.

Phew..that was a close one.
