My little white lie,

Im fine.

The greatest lie I’ve ever told,

At the start it wasn’t exactly untrue

I was fine,

Not okay, but fine

As time went on everyone believed me more and more

I laugh, I smile

No one noticed that I always wear long sleeves or that I hate swimming or hot weather

No one noticed my eyes snapping shut every time someone grabbed my arm or my voice starting to waiver and become weak when someone mentioned scars.

No one noticed and now if I tell anyone they won’t believe me.

They will think I’m insane,

A liar

But please, please help me

Please believe me,

I’m not okay,

I’m not fine.

I need help.
