Floating Away
_I get down on my knees to pray to the Lord again. I ask for his forgiveness for all my sins. I'm starting to cry again as I think:_
__
_Take the blood right out of my veins, Take the tears right out of my pain, Take the devil out of the snake. Rip the evil out of God's perfect garden story that will one day reign again. It will be just as it always should have been, before they disobeyed that beautiful day and changed history._
__
_Rip every last memory out of my heart, like you’re pulling flowers from a garden. Then let them drift away on a river full of broken promises and broken hearts. But eventually, I hope they sail away on a driftless sea so far away from any reality._
__
_Take the clouds right out of the sky. Because I really need some bright, yellow, warm sunshine beaming down on me right now. Spread love and kindness everywhere. Erase the bubble I’ve always been in. La da de la de da._
