Great title, works as a summary but also really invites the reader in. I interpret your poem as the betrayal of a friend, which really is one of the worst kinds. I especially like the last verse, the rhyme really makes it hit center
I LOVE the raw, vital structure of this piece- it seems like it’s been stripped down to the bone, revealing that not all is as it seems. Beautiful, yet sad. The title is what initially drew me in though. Such a lovely title- it says so much in so few words.
