POEM STARTER

End a poem with the line:
'When does a man become a monster?'
Struggle
He works all day, dreams to feed each one,
Empty pockets linger, the day is done.
Children eager to learn, dreams so wide,
But the weight of poverty, a harsh divide.
At home, echoes of arguments in the air,
His partner's discontent, a constant affair.
Bills pile up, debts never-ending,
In this life's maze, no respite, no mending.
Health frail, a shadow in the night,
The cost of care adds to the fight.
Dreams of peace seem to hover,
when does a man become a monster?
