uh idk
I saw her again. That young lady. She watched me, Seraphina, and Jin as we were discussing the weird history of the neighborhood. When I caught her gaze, all of my surroundings started to shift. The walls started twisting and the ceiling started turning. The house became neat and looked young, and in good shape. Jin and Seraphina weren't there anymore; it was just me.
The house looked empty, as if the previous owners just moved. There were no windows or doors; it was just a cubicle of a room. The walls were brighter, and full of life. They were a light gray, the light emitting from the ceiling fan made it look sweet and cozy, and the world felt an eerie calmness.
The light from the ceiling fan was the only light I had access to. I was confused, I didn't know what was happening to me. It felt like a dream, and I plugged my nose just to make sure. I was awake. There was no dream, this was reality.
I stood up and traced my hand along the walls. It felt unnatural and unnerving. I checked my pants for my phone, yet it was not there. Nothing was in my pockets. I didn't have my skateboard either, and I started to get anxious. My hands started to shake, and my heart felt it would jump out of my chest. It all felt like some fever dream; that I'd wake up if I ran into the wall hard enough.
The air became stuffy, and I couldn't breathe. My vision became dizzy and I felt my feet were being lifted off the ground, as if someone grabbed my legs and pulled me up.
The walls started to close in on me, and my claustrophobia started to skyrocket. I ran into the middle of the room and laid down in a feeble position, with my arms hugging my shins tighty. I sat up in the same position, doing anything I could to keep myself alive a little longer. The walls started to squeeze my sides, and I could feel my ribs cracking. The pain was unbearable; it hurt so badly I bursted into a sob. I squeezed my eyes and started to pray; to pray it was all a dream, it was all in my head.
I opened my eyes and I was back in the abandoned building, standing where I had originally. Seraphina yelled my name. "Dude," she began, "you were out of it. You okay?" I nodded my head and sat on a dusty chair, slowly coming back to the real world. I had a headache, and I felt I would throw up.
