Write an Epode based on any theme you like.
An Epode is a style of poetry where each verse is two lines which differ in meter and structure, but the second line is always shorter than the first.
Love Storm
Today I will try to love
The storm is coming
I met someone of my dreams
The clouds are coming in
I got married and I’m happy
The rain starts to fall
It’s our one year anniversary
The wind picks up
We have a child
The trees fall
We been married for ten years
The houses are falling
My love came to have hope to rest
The storm destroyed the world
