Dreams only last 5-20 minutes on average. This one lasted all night.
Dreams are mostly forgotten a couple minutes after waking. I remembered it all.
That dream, _my_ dream, almost got me locked up in prison for the rest of my life. I was running through halls and corridors, completing tasks, looking for a way out. I was confident I would make it out. Until I saw my best friend. In my head I knew I’d have to do something horrible. But I couldn’t not. So I did. Then I woke up. After about 5 minutes awake, I realized something was wrong. I could still remember my dream in full detail. I knew they’d be coming for me soon. I packed only essentials and booked it out of my home. I was lucky that I lived on the outskirts of town, it would take them a minute to get to me. I ran into the woods, toward the neighboring town, where I knew I could catch a train out of the country.
My mind was telling me the worst things. _They’re behind you. He’s dead. There’s a gun at your back._ I just kept running. I finally made it to the train station I was headed for. I bought my ticket and was standing in front of the tracks. I could feel eyes on me, like they knew what I’d done. I felt everyone watching me. But I didn’t turn. Didn’t show any signs of weakness.
“Bella?” I heard behind me. I whipped around, my hand reaching for my knife in my belt, ready for a fight. I froze when I saw him. _He’s okay. He’s completely fine. But what is he doing here? _

“Oh, Danny.” His eyes looked worried, but his body was stiff. I could tell what had happened. “You don’t have to do this.” I tell him. He shakes his head.
“They have Sam.” My eyes go wide, but my body slouches.
“Okay.” I nod.
Then, I take one step back, and fall into the oncoming train.
