(A ROTTMNT story after what feels like forever! 😱 Sorry for not posting, I’ve been mainly doing stuff and posting on IbisPaint instead of here. I’ll try to stay more active)

(This one is about Donnie and a oc named Suki)

She wants to know his secret. He hasn’t decided what it is yet.

Well, of course that’s confusing; let me explain.

He has _so_ many secrets, it’s hard to choose just one.

His biggest one, of course, is that he’s a mutant…not a yokai, like what he told her.

Maybe he should tell her that he doesn’t live alone? That he has brothers, unlike what he told her.

He also told here that he lived in a _huge _mansion in the hidden city. That was a big fat lie, what was he thinking? He guesses he just really wanted to impress her.

Donnie was conflicted; what does he tell the girl of his dreams that wants to know everything about him?

The two were sitting on a rooftop, the stars shining above them, the quiet hum of the city down below, and the strangely romantic atmosphere that absorbed this smile area.

Suki, the bat yokai, sat next to the teen turtle, rambling on and on about the hidden city and her family.

Donnie wasn’t a huge fan of rambles, but Suki was a different case. The way her violet eyes shined as she talked,d the way she fluffed up her fur when she was deep into gossip, everything about her was…_enchanting._

Suki paused for a moment, looking him over, her head tilted. “Are you okay? After I asked about your ‘secret’ you seem so…dazed. Did I do something wrong?” Suki asked, her voice filled with sincerity.

That shocked Donnie, she was usually so flirty and sarcastic, not kind and caring. I guess she really trusted him..?

“I-I’m fine.” Donnie sighed, smiling at her. “But…I need to tell you something.”

Suki nodded, leaning forward on her hand, her ears perked up. “I’m all ears~” she joked, pointing to her huge ears.

Donnie laughed nervously, before clearing his throat. “Suki…I…I’m sorry. I lied to you. I’m not a yokai, I don’t live in a huge mansion, and…I’m not an only child. I have siblings, and we live in the sewers.” He confesses, looking down at his hands.

Suki wasn’t mad; and that shocked Donnie. He was expecting her to yell; to be mad at him for lying, even if it was just to impress her.

“It’s alright, Don. I lied too…I’m not a yokai either, just a normal mutant. Okay, that sounded weird, since mutants aren’t ‘normal’ buryou get what I mean. And it’s fine, I understand.” She admitted, also seeming slightly embarrassed of lying.

Donnie felt so much better after hearing she wasn’t a yokai too. But then, he wanted to talk to her more, ask her more questions; no lies. Before he could do so, she leaned forward and gave him a soft kiss on the nose.

“I’ll see you tomorrow, Don.” Suki winked, standing up and readying her wings to fly off. “Good night, love~”

With that, Donnie watched as Suki flew off into the night, and he grinned. “See you soon….” He murmured, and jumped down from the building, looking up at the stars that filled the sky.

He never thought he would say this, but he had finally found love; true love. He didn’t always believe in that corny Disney “True Love” saying, but after today, he had hope.

Someone could love him for who he was, and that someone was Suki.

This isn’t my best work, but I loved it! :D Autumn, Colette, Archie, and Fin will still be in this, ofc, but now I’m gonna focus on the turtles finding their “Soulmates” or smth. I already them planned out :D.

ALSO I watched the ROTTMNT movie, and I want this to take place AFTER the Kraang.

Details: extremely smart, a little wild, lots of ear piercings, loves Donnie a little too much (totally not a physcho that if anyone dare even touch Donnie she would murder…)

Species: ferret mutant

Details: very sweet and shy, more of a follower than a leader, loves the ocean.

Mollie: Mikey’s lover

Age: 15

Species: Balinese cat mutant

Details: loving, entertaining, very playful, loves singing.

Remi: New Sister :D

Age: 17

Species: Southern Painted Turtle

Details: gentle, great at art, good with kids.

Kit: Little Brother

Age: unknown. I sort of imagine he’s an immortal little dude XD

Species: cat yokai

Details: fiery, slightly annoying, cute.
